Should I follow up on salary conversation? How transparent can or should I be?

All interviews are finalized. I like them and they like me. It's a massive company (not faang) in a somewhat start-up-ish team. It's definitely a product that interests me.

Recruiter and I spoke on the phone in regards to salary expectations and moving on to a concrete offer. The offer would be base + annual bonus + RSUs.

I told him my most recent offer (that I rejected) just to give a ballpark of where I want to be. (Not sure this was a good move).

Should I follow up with more concrete numbers or wait until an actual offer and then negotiate some more?

The best negotiations I've had are getting an offer within 20-30% of what I'm looking for, and using competing offers to establish what my market rate is, and using that to get my target company to understand this is what it will take to get me. Ofc great fit and nailing the interview help

Shouldn't reject stuff while still negotiating. You have power with options
