Got a offer from Citadel hf. The intetview process went very well and people seemed to be nice. But at the same time I am hearing a lot of scary stories, like the bottom 10% get fired or horriable wlb.
Can anyone share how Citadel fire people? How is job security if I work really hard? I am on last year of STEM OPT and final chance of H1B (though they are willing to relocate me to London and then apply for L1). Should I join?

Don't compare "bad" WLB/stress by finance standards versus what people consider "bad" in tech, where the average employee works 40-50 hours per week. They are two different leagues apart.
Based on the limited information provided, why should I assume they are an outlier (in the positive direction), rather than the median, or an outlier in the negative? It's a rosy ideal, but a biased estimator.
Be aware that your TC will be adjusted down if you’re moved to London, but that’s fine I guess.
