Should I join Pinterest
I am discussing an offer with Pinterest. Compensation is not discussed yet. Is this a good time to join Pinterest? I liked the technology that the team is working on. But I see many negative comment in blind about their future growth and business model. YOE 15 Base 205k RSU 50k

Join Pinterest. Their business is solid.
I actually admire Pinterest. While their stock has recently corrected, if you follow analysts, many feel their business is solid and growing. I’d join. They typically pay very well, too.

In general, not a good idea to trust anonymous people on blind about companies projections/picking stocks. Everyone acts like an expert but most are clearly not. Use your own judgment.
Nobody knows what the stock will do. But I really like working here, nice people, cool projects, sane WLB.

I would shop it around. I say this because unless you are 1,000% sure the team you are joining has the right leadership in place, you may regret not doing this. It’s really hit or miss with getting a decent, fair manager over here and unfortunately, they give way too much power to managers, which ultimately can impact whether you can move teams if at all.
