I joined Accenture right after graduating and worked here for 5 years. I'm currently trying to find opportunities in MBB, but due to the corona outbreak, I'm afraid of the dramatic changes in the consulting industry...Should I just wait it out? If you've paused your job search would like to know when you're planning to actively look again.
I'm on same boat. I'm just applying and seeing how things pan out
I just got contacted yesterday by one of MBB for an interview next week. I applied a while ago, forgot I even did. Looks like they're still hiring.
Considering current situation, there will less of new projects/ initiatives that will commence. Companies will concentrate on running their current business smoothly. Joining a consulting could be risky.. Last in first out ..
Move out of the consulting industry.
If current job is not like hell then stick to current one. Everyone wanting to hire will show rosy picture till something changes and may be it's out of their hands and you turn victim of it. Hiring managers will always let go newest employee or any other employees before they turn in. Good luck!
It may be extremely difficult to job search while there are layoffs I would suggest sharpening your skills and wait a bit if you can
No.. best time to interview as most of the interviews are virtual
Agree, because you’ll skip the online test thing and go straight to the case interviews. Confirmed for one of the EMEA offices
