Should I say I have 1 YOE of systems design for Amazon L5?

The Amazon recruiter I'm working with is having me apply to L5 roles.
The applications all have screening questions that require 1+ YOE of "contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems."
I have experience working on products that exist in such systems, but I haven't actually contributed to the design of the systems at all.
Should I put "no" for this and have the application rejected, or "yes" even though I don't have that experience?
I know I can learn/pick it up, but don't want to be dishonest on the application.
Would love reasoning in the comments.

I do attend regular design/architecture discussions for a new large-scale system, but haven't directly contributed to it.
