Millions of people lining up to get these β€œbig, beautiful vaccines” that were rushed into production by the most egotistical, narcissistic president in US history as a monument to his ego. If mRNA tech was so amazing, why didn’t it replace traditional flu vaccine technology a long time ago? Technology advancements see quick adoption when the value prop is abundantly clear (think iPhone displacing BBY, or Tesla kickstarting the demise of ICE autos), yet mRNA, which has been researched for decades, hasn’t yet become commercially available until now? Why is it now of a sudden ok to inject into millions of people’s bloodstreams? I just don’t buy it. There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

There is no point on crying on here. If getting a vaccine triggers you, work for a company that doesn't require it.

These unvaccinated people are responsible for all our problems in society right now. We could've been opened up a long time ago and spared tens of thousands of deaths if not for these morons. We need a strong leader to come forward and provide a Final Solution to the unvaccinated question.

It wouldn't have opened up, because there would have been even stronger evolutionary pressure for Coronavirus to mutate against the efficacy of vaccines. As you can already see Pfizer is below 50% effective against Delta variant.

I believe at this given moment the highest spreaders of all are people who are vaccinated as in most locations where you either need a) vaccine or b) have negative test, b) would be a safer variant as all the vaccinated positive people would go undetected, taking part in various events.

Lol Actblue doesn't give a flying fuck about the handful of tech bros on blind, and neither does anyone else for that matter.

    • Very short sighted uber. I've wondered this myself, it'd be a great source of revenue, pay x dollars to influence tech industry/some of the smarter people in our society in very direct way.

Other idea I've wondered is how organized are HR departments on blind, you could run influence operations through them possibly for free if you fit it within progressive ideology(since that's what dominates HR departments and they effectively act as an enforcement arm irl via threat of getting fired). No need to pay zealots which our found in spades in in our industry in general though I think more concentrated in non technical roles.

So many people won’t get the vaccine so they can work from home.

Our company's recent mandate requires the vaccine for employment, not just to return to the office.

Vaccinations won't help to save other people. However they can help people in a risk group to go through the illness with much milder symptoms.

The reason they won't help save other people, is because as people get vaccinated, virus mutates to reduce efficacy of this very same vaccine. While all of that is going on and vaccine passports are in use, vaccinated people will go about their day as normal, while spreading mutated variants while unvaccinated are taking tests every time if they want to get anywhere, so they are far less dangerous for spreading the virus.

Wear mask regardless why this is such a complicated issue? I know a person who let their kids go to school, surprise, kid has the virus and the parents were visiting their parents at same time. Cmon? Regardless if you have the vaccine or not the point of the mask is to protect others not yourself. Too many people getting the vaccine and getting comfortable with not wearing mask thinking they are safe. Yeah you are safe, just you. Dont be surprise when grandma still gets it and dies. And I love to see the stats of how people are actually going back for their return shots, wonder how long that will last

Biden told all of us that if we got the vax, we couldn’t catch covid or spread it. Did he not? Why are the goalposts constantly being moved with this shit?

If he did then he's lying. The chances are lower but not 0. Personally i will stick with my mask while everyone else can beta test
