Need advice : Should I join MyCase or JP Morgan Chase

Hello,

I have offer from MyCase ( a product based company - https://www.mycase.com) and JP Morgan Chase.

Total Year of experience : 11 years

Below is the Offer details:

@MyCase:
Base Salary : 140K
Equity : 60k points (do not know what is the actual worth)
Yearly Bonus : 8% - 16% of the Base salary
Location : One Year in Texas due to COVID and then San Diego, California.
Technology: AWS, ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, TypeScript.

@JP Morgan Chase:
Base Salary: 125K
Yearly Bonus : 10K
Location : Dallas, Texas
Technology: Java & AWS

Please advise.

    Obviously higher pay.

    And Chase is evil. Aren't they banning people now? First it was the Gab guy and now that general. Disgusting company.

    If you do well enough they may let you stay remote. Or make up excuse that you can't relocate when time comes. If good performer and they don't let you stay remote, would you even wanna work there?

    Worse case you just get another job and coast until then.

  • Mycase till you can be in Texas with them. Try and see if you can get a better job then in a year?

    Where do you actually want to live between those two states?
