Sick and tired of Bay Area Whole Foods! Alternatives?

I moved to bay area about a few months ago and been shopping my groceries from Whole Foods and everytime I do I keep questioning myself is this really wholefoods or some cheap ass rip-off. The quality and the service is nowhere close to the ones in east coast. Ive tried about 5 different wholefoods and all of em seem pretty much the same. Are there any alternatives to WF? I dont mind the few extra $$ as long as its worth it..
