Side effects of frothy milk in Starbucks lattes?

Does anyone else, occasionally, get too much gas or upset stomach (not quite diarrhea, but close) after having having Starbucks lattes with regular milk? I get it occasionally, my teenage daughter does, and know of another close friend (can't ask too many people) - we are all brown! I love working in sbuck when I get the opportunity but side effect of this frothy milk minimizes my drink choices and visits.

Been drinking coffee & tea with milk all my life. Drink milk and have many dairy products w/o issues.

You can develop lactose intolerance later in life especially if you moved to usa from another country, I have seen this a lot, there's something different about the dairy here.

Americano and then just adding milk seems to be the answer but reduces the temperature :(

Pretty sure it's possible to develop lactose intolerance later.

Do you suffer any pain after eating greasy food? Fish fry or five guys?

Milk and coffee might be a bad combination. Hence not working out. Listen to what people are saying above.

It is probably lactose problem... Here is how mine started effecting me. Coffee with milk in it started making my stomach hurt a little. Really good expensive cheese didn't really hurt. Somewhat nice cheese hurt A LOT stomach would get super bloated. And really cheap fake cheese didn't really bother me. Mine continues to get worse so I gvae up on dairy. I put soy in my Starbucks coffee now. I get a white mocha with soy and it taste like a comsic brownie. Learn to use sugar and creamer without dairy
