If you were to able to generate more income beside your fulltime office job: 1. please describe how would you do it? 2. what side revenue do you believe you can achieve in 2018, 2019 and 2020? 3. what are the 3 biggest challenges facing your side venture over the coming year?
Drive Uber/Lyft or start a small amazon business
Terrible idea to drive for Uber/Lyft. It requires physical labor and not scalable
Write a book about analysis.
Hahahaha
Become an ‘expert’ at what you do for your main job and consult on the side.
I’m living off of $4k per month on software I developed. Revenue $5.6k and $4k profit. Enough to pay part of my mortgage
Like others have said, driving for Lyft/ Uber if you like driving. Though it gets repetitive and annoying after a while. Or cryptomining. Right now the market is shit but could be an opportunity to buy the right hardware. I was making $600-$700 a month mining before the market collapsed.
Get paid to interview people at Karat on weekends, which can go up to $100/hr from what I've heard and flexible hours. And no, not a shill.
Terrible idea. If you can write software why would you spend your own time to interview people and doing something not scalable. You’re signing up for chump change rather than leveraging your domain knowledge. An hour of time spent in writing software can translate to 1000 work hours over time if you come up w a lifestyle business idea.
I signed up for chump change when I joined FANG instead of taking a risk and trying to build my own startup 😔.
