Does slack have any serious competition ? I’m going through it’s S1 filing and they are talking about competition as risk. How about Microsoft teams ? Discord ? Chime ? Anyone has potential to give slack some run for the money ?
Discord probably, since not all slack use cases are business. But all their monetized use cases are, not sure if they care.
Teams is great. Way better than chime.
We are up to 12 chat apps. So one of them might eventually stick.
If chime is a serious competitor then I’m the queen of France
Amazon Chime is like slack on crack
More like slack on that drug from cowboy Bebop that makes you go nuts
Yours has a better ring to it but I really need a drug with a quicker and more complete descent into craziness here. Something like bath salts.
It’s -> its
I just heard from a Microsoft Teams insider that according to their recent internal metrics Teams surpassed Slack's userbase numbers.
Paid or unpaid. MS is good at fudging numbers

Microsoft Teams due to stickiness of the product / existing enterprise relationships.
