I have onsite consultant interview coming up. Anyone from slalom can share your experience? 1. How’s the company culture and WLB with minimal travel? (They say travel is limited within the city itself) 2. What questions should I expect in the onsite interview? 3. What’s the comp and benefit for a consultant role like? Gladsdoor has so many poositive reviews. But I want to hear from Slalom employees here. TC: 130k Thank you for your time! #slalom #consulting #slalomconsulting
Depends on the office, they are all run independently. They are asked to leave good reviews on Glassdoor upon hiring. Overall I think it’s one of the better options for consulting
Thank you. How would you rate/compare it against big 4 consulting? Thoughts?
Smaller firm which could be a pro or con depending on how you look at it. No travel if you don’t want to, although I know some offices consider a commute up to 1hr “local” so be sure to try to understand their big accounts. Work life balance is most likely going to be better than big 4, again, depends on your office, clients, etc though
1) I definitely think WLB is one of the best things about Slalom. There has been very little travel for me. I’d suggest living somewhere central since you will be on client site. Just depends on which office you’re in, but over all very rare you work more than 40-45 hours of billable time 2) Just know about Slalom and why Slalom. Look at the core values. 3) id say above average, but definitely less than anything FAANG. Very dependent on location
The point 1 feedback on WLB has been consistent everywhere. Thank you, appreciate it!
Feel free ask any other questions! Best of luck o. The rest of your interviews

Which is more prestigious, Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad or Harvard Business School?
I've hired them and have friends who joined. They're a quality shop. Very good as a bridge to a wider network too. It's a good choice
Thank you, appreciate it!
