Does anyone know what tc to expect as a Senior test architect at Slalom (Slalom build)? Atlanta.
I got an offer from them before my current job. It s was senior cloud architect for 150k and 10% bonus if the company met revenue and all that…
SWE or QE? How are you enjoying MS?
Cloud solutions architect, yeap I’m loving it.
Generally speaking, experienced architects in Slalom Build get paid what senior engineers get paid at similar companies. Checking out the Denver salary ranges mentioned earlier will confirm this.
As an example, if you want to get paid a fair salary for a "senior software engineer" at Slalom Build, you'll have to be hired or promoted to a Senior Architect level, or at least the high end of the Architect level salary range. In other words, that means way more responsibilities than a senior SDE for fair senior SDE pay.

You can try look at their Colorado postings to get an idea, since they are required to post pay range for the state. For example here: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/2642021357 (level 2 range $90-120k) Architect QE is probably level 3, which is supposedly $110-140k (again, Colorado) just to get an idea. Glassdoor is pretty accurate IMO. I would expect around $110-120 for architect QE in Atlanta.
Btw not sure what "senior test architect" is. In Build, you have a capability (like QE quality engineer / SE software engineer ...) and seniority level (engineer, senior engineer, architect ...). For Colorado: Senior QE would be pay range 2 (90-120k) Architect QE would be pay range 3 (110-140) Good luck.
