how is it at Snap? how is the culture/morale/pay? is the environment toxic? do you get to take any PTO?
We're looking for full-stack/front-end engineers :). Can't say we're competitive with Snap in terms of pay, but we definitely beat Cornerstone.

I have been at Snap for a 2+ years. Great people to learn from, autonomy and people are bought into the company mission. Stock has huge upside. We have unlimited PTO
How is the turnover? Do people actually take their unlimited PTO? it’s a common perk for companies in California
People definitely take PTO, it’s encouraged and managers and ICs take it regularly. Haven’t seen much turnover since I’ve been here and people generally are happy since we have done well on our earnings calls all year. It’s a great place to be with smart people
Pay is higher than most FAANG companies and engineering culture is strong. Just hit my 1 year and loving it!
how are they about promos? Is going from L1 to L2 or L2 to L3 relatively easy if you perform well? (I.e. timelines for both)
Till L4 is simple as long as you deliver. I’ve taken over 4 weeks PTO/year since I joined.
