Snap L5; Google L5 offers
Thinking of doing FB -> Snap. Snap L5 $200k base, $1.5M RSU $50k sign on = $600k.. some serious dough.. Google L5 $180k base $700k RSU $50k sign on = $380k or so.. which is less than my TC. Currently E5 making $400k (3rd year at FB. stock has been flat past 2 years) Snap is in LA, Google is in SF
Take Snap. They may be close to irrelevant and you can always go to google later if you pass hiring committee
Yeah. I mean Snap stock needs to drop 50% for it to match Google. How is Google LA office btw ? If Snap doesn't work out, I may join Google LA after a year.
It can drop more than 50%. Snap is trading just above $10 now. I see its recent low was below $5.

+1 for Snap. What's your YOE? Depending on that with that offer you'd probably try L6 at other places.
Curious, how did you get 380K with that split? Are you not including sign-on in the TC?
Does anyone know if snap pays that much for L5 in Seattle?
