Everyone ready to “become exponentially more productive?!?” 😑 https://cheddar.com/videos/exclusive-snap-lays-off-two-dozen-employees
Also I just realize your username is CracklePop. Snap... CracklePop.... I’m a bit slow
How tf is everything leaked? Is that some retaliation going on?
Two dozen sounds like monthly layoff at big tech companies. Why is this a big deal? Amazon and Microsoft do this all the time and it does not come out to news unless it involves at least hundreds.
Glad I turned down the offer
Sad
I work there and always have to find out through 3rd party news. It's terrible. Feel bad for the people that is part of this news and hope them to be having a job soon
This is not news worthy at all.
It isn't news worthy but for people that works there this helps since there isn't any transparency
Do you really feel that it's necessary that engineering be told about layoffs in content? I've never worked at a company where the entire company was notified every time there was a small reorg. Sure we need better communication, but transparency isn't a serious problem, few companies share as many metrics with all of their employees in such a visible way.
24 people is not a layoff. It's just re-org.
24 people...in Content...in NY & London. **yaaaawn**
Time to build a scalable business.
