Ideally would be working towards a new grad offer. I am leaning towards Facebook because they offer return interns higher TC for new grad and Tiktok is the best name on my resume. However, I also feel like I may enjoy Snap culture more. Better WLB, and it seems at FB it is so rigid, no flexibility to do anything but what the intern guidelines say. Does Snap hire new grads externally? I also feel like I can always just interview again for new grad next year.
Fb
any reason why?
Snap

Smaller so less toxic PR. I'd say avoid all social media
FB for the retuning intern bonus conversion to new grad
Snap probably faster TC at this pt (interned at both) fb doesn’t negotiate new grad anymore, indication of decline (like when amzn stopped nego)
What's the TC at hrt these days?
I didn’t know not negotiating new grad indicates decline, why is that the case? I don’t think Snap does either, max offer seems to be 200k TC
Pretty close for a new grad. Snap has a better chance of growing tho
How does promo look at Snap? Particularly L3->L4
Snap is massively overvalued compared to FB lol. I’d go with SNAP but def not for that reason
I'd say snap because it's smaller
Any reason why you think smaller is better?
Both are good. Snap if you are a single guy and want to have a good social and dating life. FB if you’re more career driven but both are really good.
When did you Interview for FB and what questions were asked for the internship Interview?

Just personal preference more opportunities to grow and better exit
