Snapchat Internal mobility
What is internal mobility across roles like at Snap? How is a move to a new role initiated? Is it easy to move teams? Is SWE to PM possible?

Mobility is not an issue unless you are a low performing individual

Also should add that SWE to PM isn't really possible given we don't really have PMs in the traditional sense as products is done by people with design backgrounds.

We do have PMs, just very few relative to eng (and only on monetization I think) compared to other large tech companies
So there's no internal job posting site?
There is an internal job site, but it's not all that different from the external site. For what it's worth, there are plenty of people on my team that came from other teams.
