Here's one from the fall.
For a role at Citi, the hiring manager admitted that he had a medical procedure earlier in the day, and he was still hopped up on anesthesia. He kept losing his place throughout the interview.
The interview was cut short when another Citi employee barged into the WebEx meeting and kicked me out.

It wasn't supposed to be a technical interview, the manager and I discuss my background for the duration of the interview, after it ends, HM decided to give me an LC medium. I start solving it, notice a bug in my logic and try to fix it, HM gets mad and says I'm doing it wrong and I had it right the first time. I get stuck, manager adds a line of code to make it work, never heard back
The interview was scheduled at 10 AM. I waited until 11 AM, noone showed up. Later at 12 PM, the recruiter called, apologized and asked if it is okay to continue or reschedule. I said I am no longer interested. ππ
I still couldn't understand him, so I just said no to a few of his questions without even knowing what he asked. Finally, he then cut the phone interview short, which likely saved us both some headaches.
I was thinking of emailing the recruiter with some of this feedback, but don't really want to work with someone like that anyway. Nightmare avoided.
