Found a reasonable statement for who should get boosted. What do blind folks think?
https://www.cnbc.com/video/2021/12/21/covid-boosters-should-be-targeted-based-on-risk-factors-johns-hopkins.html

Edit 1: Responding to TL;DR
1. Everyone is likely to get COVID at some point
2. Unvaccinated are going to be worst affected
3. Healthy and fully vaccinated are probably not gonna benefit from boosters
4. Boosters should be decided based on risk for severe outcome and hospitalization

This is about targeting individuals for whom getting the booster is MOST important. For everyone else, it’s still important. Get the damn shot.

Doesn't he say there is probably little difference between healthy+fully vaccinated and healthy+fully vaccinated+boosted?

It's true. Boosters don't help much for most people. You can read medical school, CDC or WHO reports about this. All agree.

Well yes we should prioritize those at risk first. But the risk of the booster complications is less than the risk of COVID complications without the booster even for healthy people.

Also, you really don't know what underlying conditions you may have. There are even be genetic susceptibilities.

The developing narrative around Omicron variant seems to be towards making booster necessary for all (not just prioritizing those at risk), which, I don't agree with.

Just because booster complications < COVID complications, doesn't mean healthy people need to take it. Sure, JnJ's turned out be producing ineffective antibodies, so I understand those folks going for a booster.

CDC provides a list of medical conditions that put one at a risk of severe disease and hospitalization. I would prioritize getting assessed for such conditions before taking a booster just because there is a new variant.

  • Most don’t need them. This common sense of you understand the point of the boosters (to prime your system with antibodies).

Most though will make their own antibodies and can stand a slight delay between them and the virus load.

So same - get vaccinated, stay healthy - workout, eat right, take supplements, wear a mask where needed, hang out with your bubble.
