Have a coding assignment that is one Python question and 4 hours long.

Anyone have any advice about what I should know to be successful?

  • Pretty straightforward, just build a working mesh network in space. Make sure you factor in relativistic effects when you’re computing the time it takes to relay EM signals along the orbital path of the planet and the rest is cake

One piece of advice I saw was to build your own data structure primitives, at one point you “could not use outside code”, including basic shit.

If you had data structures ready it turned a 6 hour challenge into a 1 hour cakewalk

Mine was pretty straightforward problemwise (like implement a linked list) but i bombed the final round interview

Was your test 4 hours long? I’d be surprised if they gave that much time to implement a simple data structure
