SpaceX Redmond got fired
I heard they messed up so badly Musk is shutting down SpaceX Redmond.
Apparently so - out of their depth is what I heard... the real skills are in SpaceX HQ.

That’s a weird thing to do surely. Normally under these circumstances, there’s just a change in leadership?
They fired them last week - a lot of them were ex Microsoft from a failed group called WPI. I think musk just had enough
Not an insider but the Redmond factory I believe was for satellites, and based on Glenn Shotwell's recent interview sounds like that specific effort has been doomed for a little while now
I am sure it will be announced soon in the press
