I had a splunk senior software engineer interview last week. They told that feedback is positive but want me to speak to VP and director for additional round of interviews. Can anyone from Splunk throw some light on what to expect from both the interviews. Thank you for the help. I appreciate it.
I had the same experience. I spoke to senior director tho.
How did it go ? Do you have any suggestions based on your experience ?
Just a casual call nothing big
1. VPs like to speak more, good for you. 2. Ask high level qs, not more than 3-4. Set them up for point 1. 3. Qs to you will be of very generic types. (a) strength/weakness (b) story of success/failure in your career (c) how do you handle crunch/pressure situations (d) why leaving current job etc. 4. Be on time, make sure phone/internet works. VPs don't have much time unless they are recruiting their direct reports. 5. Breathe. Should be cake walk for you. Atb.
thank you
Mostly behavioral questions
Can I pm you for splunk referral?
Ok
Some of the VPs have nothing better to do.
does every Sr. Software engineer go through this kind of process ? What is the VP and director round like in general ?
