Came across this article recently: https://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2018/09/20/top-paying-tech-companies-fb-goog-splunk-splk-intc.html Does Splunk really pay that well? Is it just the base or TC?
Total Comp/Cash
total comp....includes variable performance bonus and RSU for that year, assuming you execute. That number has to be based on Senior folks, which sounds about right.
One guy wanted to move from Splunk to a partner so he could go from SF->Denver, but wanted to keep his [purported] 275k base. Senior Professional Services Consultant. Didn't work out.
I really wish they would take this article down because it’s not very accurate
How so?
How is Palo Alto networks not included in the list?
TC.. No way base is that high. But TC number sounds about right.
Wow, 256k TC for the average worker isn't high enough to make Splunk top of the list.
Probably also due to the stock hike this year (Not doing so well for the past two weeks though)... But yea 250k is about the pay for a high P3/low P4 engineer
