What is the format of the Web Interview in the Spotify Final Round? I know that is in Coderpad and will cover "JavaScript, DOM, CSS fundamentals deep-dive as well as application of web native APIs. You’ll be asked to code solutions to problems, discuss their complexity, and optimize them." Kinda vague description tho. Is more crafting user interfaces? (e.g. build an image carousel) Or, more along the lines of, here is a piece of code, find the bug in it #spotify TC 145k YOE 2
Run before it’s too late
care to explain why?
Coz behind the illusion of great wlb there a stressfully company focusing only on short term goal using a waterfall process with an exhaustive planning process
What was your first round like? I have an interview coming up. Also what role is this for?
First round was a chat with a recruiter. Very informal They asked me why I’m looking for a new job, why I want to join Spotify specifically, what a typical week at my current role looks like and what tech stack I use at my current company. It was very basic stuff, not really many STAR based questions either Role is Web Engineer, Personalization Good luck! DM if you have any more questions
Hey OP, I DMd you if you don’t mind
Hey OP, how was it?
Pretty good tbh. It was more straightforward/easy than I thought. Just needed a good grasp of HTML and JS fundamentals. No arcane concepts were tested. Also, for me at least, did not have to write or deal with any CSS
When you get in, let us know when or if Spotify hd is real.
