I interviewed for a finance role at Spotify back in Feb. Made it to the case study round and presented my completed case study to a panel of 3 Sr. Managers/Managers. They would then place me on one of Spotify’s finance teams if there is a fit.
During the interview, they all seemed to really like my case study and one of them said that I’d be a really good fit on one of the teams. I felt pretty confident (virtually) walking out of the interview.
Two of them even accepted my LinkedIn request after, yet one week later I got a rejection email…
I know this might seem pointless now, but can anyone shine some lights on my situation?
I did mention that I want to eventually move to NYC (I actually do) but I’d have to be remote for the time being. Not sure how big a factor location plays (I am in CA).
This was the job that I really wanted (and had high hopes for). Some closure would just be nice.
