I have an upcoming technical video interview with Spotify for a position in Stockholm. Interview is supposed to be around 1.5 hours with "some trivia, a programming exercise, and data-oriented programming problem" What does it mean by trivia, data focussed programming exercise etc? Is this about DSA, system design or anything else? It also mentions language as python or Java, so do I have to prepare for language-specific questions? (I don't actively code in python).
Yeah Spotify interview was the most extensive one I had (no faang experience here) and then I had to copy and paste for half a year. Hope it won't be the case for you op!)
Was it dsa/ leetcode stuff or something else?
On the supporting side. Keep us posted how it goes. Housing in Stockholm is pain in the butt btw
Hi guys... I am also having an upcoming interview @spotify for web developer position (JS). Can you please shed some light on how to nail it... I am suppose to have an algo, system design, values and js web round
I didn't get through the phone screen. Question was a farely simple string manipulation. There are lots of questions on cs theory. I legit thought I was rejected due to the theoretical stuff, but apparently it was the coding too. Apparently you have to be very clear with the coding syntax even if your algorithm is correct, no pseudcode type stuff allowed. Pay attention to language details
Can you be more specific about the CS theory questions? Are we talking things like Turing Machines, or something more like how recursion works?
Hey, do you mind sharing your onsite experience?
Hi... It got postponed due to covid-19 outbreak. I am still open for suggestions from people to know about their experience... So as to prepare
