What spotify has done with wrapped is marketing genius. Thoughts?
So the Facebook retros but with music. I don’t see much to be impress imho
It’s a weird feeling when you’re told you’ve listened to 36,000 minutes of music this year and you think “huh... that sounds pretty low”
Just the fact that your insta feed is blowing up with it is whats genius about it
It’s so brilliant the way they analyze your data and break it down by season, year and decade. The visuals and animations this year were also so fluid and beautiful.
It was actually enlightening to see the type of music I listened to each season. Even the songs they chose to play in the background totally represented my mood for that whole time period.
I agree, a lot of people are inclined to join now
My 2018 and 2019 top songs are almost the same. Man, I'm old!
I’m a huge fan of it, and I thought it was very well done. I’m honestly very impressed with Spotify engineering, and their team structures sound very exciting. If they had engineering on the west coast, I probably would’ve already tried to work there.
Yeah it happens every year and people look forward to it every year. It’s called good branding & CX lol.
I thought it was brilliant, might keep me from switching to Amazon music despite the much lower cost.
