Just checked my wife's h4 EAD got approved and the card was delivered to my lawyers office last week. Does that say anything about my h1 transfer that was filed with the EAD petition? They usually give the EAD till the h1 expiry date. UPDATE: I just logged onto the myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov website and saw the h1b was approved as well.
On a side note, does your wife work on that EAD? Looks like H4 ead is soon to be terminated.
I am waiting for my wife’s H4 EAD approval. Can you provide the timelines for it? When did you file your wife’s EAD?
It was filed on Jan 25, got receipt sometime Feb first week. California center. Card was send Mar 6. Received by lawyers on 8. i still don't know the details on the card. About how long the extension is and stuff like that.
Cool. Thanks for the info. On my side it was filed on Feb 14 with Vermont center.
Usually it means H1 is approved too, but these are troubled times
Troubled times aside, it wouldn't make sense to extend the EAD and reject the h1. That should be stupid since the EAD can't outlast the h1. But I guess you are right. I am looking for causation in a complete unpredictable situation. It can defy logic.
