Sprints and daily stand ups
Do all FANG companies have sprints and stand ups for a software engineer? Any companies that don’t have daily standup?

I thought it was more like a team culture, rather than a company-wide thing.

It’s an agile ceremony. You won’t find it at companies who manage projects with traditional waterfall methodologies.

I managed to avoid daily stand-ups while at Amazon. A good deal of it depends on your management.

Varies by team. I know of some FANG teams that do daily standups, but most don't.
Curious how the answer to this question affects your day to day life or career?
Daily stand-ups are a cancer indicative of a broken team. If the team is healthy and functional the stand-ups are completely redundant and a waste. If team members are finding something new in them, the team is not communicating and is dysfunctional.
