Square Interview Process
Cleared 2 telephonic rounds. After that recruiter told me there no teams available to bring me onsite virtually. No communication after that. It’s been 3 weeks since i gave my last phone interview. Is this normal? Can anyone in Square refer me for their team? YOE 4.5
Recruiting is super chaotic right now. I don't know why. But if you're hearing that, I'm sure that's the reason. I'm sorry that's happening.
Hey btw, are you asking a question? Based on what you posted, it seems like they are saying they aren’t interviewing you anymore due to no spots available
It was more of a question that is this normal? Plus some frustration. Recruiter said he will keep me posted if he finds something for me. Nothing more

I had a different experience though. My team matching actually happened after the onsite, not before.
There are so many open roles right now... there’s no way there are no teams hiring. Is the recruiter trying to reject you but not being direct? Sounds terrible
Can I apply after a rejection?
My interviews went really well. I don’t think i could be rejected. Is there a way you can refer me?
I'm sorry you had such a poor experience. As a Square interviewer I can assure you we are interviewing many people every week. The recruiter likely couldn't find enough engineers available to interview to put together an onsite day. I'd recommend to follow up with the recruiter every few days asking if there are any teams available to interview you.
