Today I was offered a temp non tech role at Square for about 4 months. I need some advice on whether or not I should take it or to continue to interview for permanent positions. It seems like it has a great company culture with a tangible mission but I’m worried about missing out on a great full time position elsewhere (also interviewing at Lenovo and Dell). The benefit of a temp job over a FT right now is that I can ease back into work (have been not working for 3 months) and determine if it’s a good fit. And the drawback is that they might not offer me a FT position at the end. The HM seemed pretty confident they will have approval of their HC for 2021 but you never know. I would love some advice or insight into working at Square or if they were in a similar situation.
