Sr. Technical Program Manager at Google
In the next few months, I want to apply for a sr. technical Program Manager at Google. I went through their interview process earlier this year, and didn't make it past the 2nd round. YOE 13. To this day I still don't understand why I failed that Interview. There were no technical questions, just simple management ones which to me were quite easy. He did give me a complex problem though. Full disclosure, I'm not from a leading tech company, and I work as a contractor for the fed govt, which to me means my skill set may not be as good as the FAANG folks. And so, I'll have to work harder to prep for an interview on at Google if I were to get to that stage. I would be thankful to folks here if they can guide me in how to prep for an Sr Technical Program Manager interest Google. Any insight into what is asked at the various stages, and any sites or resources I can use to prepare. Google is THE company I want to work for, and I'm trying to maximize my chances of clearing the interview if I get to that stage.

I was in a similar situation before where I worked in both private and quasi public sector. In my private sector role I was also partially supporting Federal projects. Google's feedback was that I had too much public sector background. Also they usually look for masters. Anyway I'm working at another tech company now. Good luck
Public sector experience is a weakness here I know m I do have a masters though since you mentioned that as one of the requirements
