West coast referrals and/or advice please 😁

Developer in the Midwest looking for a chance to hit it big out west!

I've worked with a ton of frameworks as a generalist, started coding in middle school, finished an associates degree in under 2 years, and have 3yoe (if you include freelance work, otherwise 2.5yoe).

I've used a lot of frameworks (consulting so had to learn a lot fast) and prefer frontend, but could do Mobile, fullstack, or whatever too.

What's available and does anyone have advice? I don't have many people to go to for career help and would love referrals / direction / mentorship too. Just looking to make a difference in the world, grow as much as possible, and max out the retirement account while I'm young!

I also saw a developer advocate role and think that sounds pretty cool (I like being in front of people and travel), anyone have opinions on that? And what can I do to be more appealing to companies / recruiters out west and make my resume stand out?

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance!
