What questions one should expect for staff engineer position ? How many rounds do they have after initial screening ?

Which bu? It depends on the answer to this q. Generally you will have 2 coding rounds and some background interviews based on which bu (storage/networking/etc) and some design rounds

2 coding rounds for new grad, I interviewed for senior mts, all 5 rounds were coding. One round was coding plus system design. Only lunch with manager was behavioral.
5-6 rounds onsite. Algo/ ds mostly with one system design.
