Staff/Sr comp in Uber/Lyft/Oracle (OCI) and Facebook?
Hello blinders, Got verbal confirmation from Uber (5b), Lyft (T6) and OCI (IC5) from the recruiters. Tentative verbal offers are around 500k. Waiting for final offers. What is comp band for these levels? How much can I expect and what is max I can negotiate for? My Facebook interview for E6 went well, yet to hear back from the recruiter. What is the comp band for E6? TC: 380k YoE: 10
When did you interview with OCI? I thought there was a hiring freeze going on.

L6 at Amazon to these three at these levels is a level up , isn’t it ? But then probably L6 at Amazon is a very broad level due to L7 being a tough catch
Yes, you are right. I'm on the high end of SDE3 in Amazon, my comp is high for the same reason. I was very clear with recruiters about levelling, I quoted levels.fyi and requested interview for one level high.
Why no Google ?

Coding will be similar to other levels but there will be at least 2 rounds of system design and 1 or more leadership/behavioral rounds. You have to nail the design rounds, expect to talk 90% of the interview time. For every application you chose, you need to provide alternatives and explain why the one you chose is the best for given problem. Other than coding and design, there will be a leadership/behavioral interview where you will discuss about your past projects and they will look for evidences whether you are performing at the level or not.
