Got reached out by a recruiter from some staffing agency via LinkedIn that said he’s looking for a swe for his client, which happens to be Meta. Is there any difference between applying through this staffing agency and applying directly? I already got resume rejected for the new grad position after applying directly and with a referral. So just wondering if this would give me a better chance? Would I lose some TC because it’s through a staffing agency, or is it still 200k+ for entry level? Btw before you say Meta is going down the shitter or whatever, I couldn’t care less. It’s still much, much, much better than Infosys lmao. TC: 🥜🥜🥜 (avoid WITCH) YOE: <1
You would loose tc, no benefits too I guess like 401k. And you sure staffing agency role is entry level at meta?
Why would you lose benefits? Staffing agencies are just intermediaries . They do the same thing as recruiters do
Then I guess I was reached my different kind of staffing agency. Because they told me I need to on their firm w2
Likelihood of you converting to fte from staffing is low

Do it. Staffing agency connects you directly with a recruiter from what I know of. Even if you got rejected before this might be for a new role
Ty, this is the answer I was looking for!
