For the devs with 3-4 yoe before getting into fang companies, what made you stand out? Was it certificates, referrals, MS, open source contributions, or cool side projects? Assuming you breath LC questions daily and your in a big name tech company now, but not fang.. TC: 160 Yoe: 2.5

Leadership skills. There's so many areas in tech now: cloud, programming languages, ml, DB, security etc...focus in one area but start leading projects and planning, act like a manager assistant
I got some good advice once that always stuck with me. "Stand out, above the crowd, even if you gotta shout out loud. Til mine is the only face you see, I'm gonna stand out, until you notice me."
