Start date just after uber IPO date. IMPACT on offer?
My start date at uber been delayed for a few months due to my delayed work auth papers. Now that i can switch and sign new start date. Is it risky to set a start date in may? Could they change the previously received offer, in case they go IPO in april?

They will not change your offer as the ipo price will not be much different from 409a. But if the stock price tanks from ipo, which is very likely, the tc could be less attractive than MSFT. For me, I treat the stock at $33 to evaluate the tc.

Don’t worry OP. Just accept the offer. Uber is aiming for a conservative IPO. It won’t tank as much as you think
That will be ok. After Uber IPO, you may want to stay at Microsoft.
