I’m in the process of interviewing with a startup (200 ish employees) for a senior swe and need some guidance on negotiations if it gets to that point.
I live in the midwest so dont judge tc the same
I have 6 years of experience as swe and i put 120k for desired salary on the application and the hr person who screened me said that was right in the range and should be no problem
The question i have is around stock options/ rsus and sign on bonus. On glassdoor there is no mention of rsus or stock options but i’m wondering if i should ask for them and if so how much? Also what is a reasonable amount to ask for as a sign on bonus?
I actually really want this specific job so i don’t want to ask for too much and turn them off but also I want $$$ like the rest of us
Want to see the real deal?
