Currently an SRE, I want to switch away from LinkedIn but I feel like SRE interviews are harder, less available and have a potentially worse career path. I am currently Senior SRE at LinkedIn. It feels like I need to LC for SRE interviews still and I need to know about many other topics. Why not just LC and interview for SWE positions? I am debating at interviewing around for an IC4 or higher level position for SWE and seeing how that goes. TC for 2020 is 400+
