I've been in this search process with Stripe Ireland for a position in EMEA Payments. After some interviews with a few team members my impression was that they didn't have very good WLB. I let the recruiter know this and told him WLB is a priority to me, and he offered me a position in Stripe Tax. However, I will just have one more interview with the Engineer Manager of that team and none with any other team members. So how's life for you there? How stressful is it? How many times have you had to stay at work late? How harsh are they with deadlines? Thanks YOE: 8 TC: $24k (I'm from a third world country) #stripe #amazon #google #wlb #europe #swe
No doubt you will work hard at Stripe Ireland but at the end of the day you are in Ireland - people take WLB pretty seriously here.
What do you mean "people take WLB seriously here"?
When I was at Stripe it was hard work but people still take good holidays and with a good manager they recognise your hard work and push you to take time off
I'm more concerned about how often people stayed late working at the office, how often they pushed for overtime to meet deadlines, etc. Also, what made you change jobs?

You keep making these and I keep subscribing to them but nobody is commenting.
Maybe Ireland Stripe employees are happy and don’t use blind? Or they are overworked to bones and don’t have time for blind. Maybe they are here silently observing and waiting for others to join and suffer.
Yes, I keep making them trying to see if I catch one of them browsing by Most Recent but to no avail :(
