I have an offer from Stripe. Super excited about prospects of joining a growing company that can. iPO very soon. My current job is fine too - great WLB, good team, supportive management, definitely above average comp. Cons 1. WLB at Stripe 2. tech stack at Stripe (Ruby) 3. Intense env - self doubts on whether I will be able to do well. Also, any Stripes that can talk about the Pip /letting people go before 1 year RSU vest? Join Stripe? Current TC: 325k(including stock appreciation) Stripe offer: ~ 400k YOE: 6

Do you mean the dollar value RSUs?
Yes if the company grows you donโt get much benefit
Uplevels and market adjustment are twice a year but you can only get a raise based on merit once a year.
How about refreshers? Did they announce the new policy yet since AVG rollout?
What is upleveling and market adjustment? Also, any update on refreshers?
Are you at Stripe?
I am not worried about working for 40-50 hours a week. Also, am not at Adobe now. RSU upside is for the longer run as I believe in the company mission.
