My kid is 6 and I don't want him to be bored all summer and would like to put him in a summer program. But I don't need a day care, it should be fun and somewhere he also learns something and plays with other kids his age. Any recommendations?
I did one at Stanford that was an awesome experience when I was a kid. No idea what it was called though. This was back in 2011 and the camo counselor introduced me to Bitcoin and concurrency in Java. Advanced stuff compared to what I was seeing back home and definitely opened my mind. Was also just nice to relate to people who liked computers/coding (not from a very technical household or community).

6-year-olds go to camps? I didn't enjoy it until I was 25.
