Super happy that Amazon stocks are falling
Though I am in Amazon, I am super happy that stock is falling. A company which treats its employees like garbage should not be successful at all.

I would just hope that this would lead to me getting either more cash or more stock. I just hate that their compensation model relies so heavily on optimistic speculation

Why do you think they'll pay all employees more when the stock market crashes? It's not like your work changed.

Move to another team, talk to SDMs and SDEs on potential teams and ask them about WLB and specifically how often they work weekends/nights and most of the teams will be honest with you
