Title says it all, wanting to get some good ideas for banks. I'm thinking of signing up with Ally.
USBANK is giving opening bonus for direct deposits over certain amount
Doesn't every bank give that.
WF for checking and Discover for savings
The app for Chase is lame if you want to invest. The app for BoA is lame if you want to add third party payments. Certain banks give significant Private Client perks if you can transfer hundreds of thousands into the account.
Any of the big ones. Chase, BofA, Wells Fargo etc. It's good to have a branch everywhere you go. Or the other extreme and go full online
You have to have direct deposits to avoid monthly fees or give them some money to avoid the fees Full online banking doesn’t charge fees
I've been with Chase forever because I like having a physical branch for getting things notarized or signature guarantee. I have a savings account with Capital One because Chase's interest rate is shit, 5 bps compared to CapOne @ 2%
Most banks do this
Bank of America closed my accounts because they thought I deposited a fraudulent check at an ATM. They did so without telling me. They can suck BofA deez nuts.
Chase #1
BOFA
Why? That’s like, literally the worst choice.
