Hi all, What are some good resources to get started with system Design [Beginners]? Also what kind of questions are usually asked in system Design interviews?
Grokking the system design interview - spend some money, it really makes sense.
+1
Go github and search for system design primer. I got offers from Amazon, Facebook and Google by studying that for design round.

And you still work for WeWork?
Buy Desiging Data Intensive app Designing Data-Intensive Applications: The Big Ideas Behind Reliable, Scalable, and Maintainable Systems https://www.amazon.com/dp/1449373321/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_cO9tEb0YTK8BN
+1 This book is long, but is awesome !
Try educative.io —> this is bit expensive algoexperts.io —> this is at better price, take a look at content
Which one is better?
educative is more like documented.. the more you read.. the more you understand and has more real time examples algoexpert has video content about design fundamentals and only a handful of real time designs If u r just starting up.. use algoexpert If u r prepping up for an interview at big tech companies.. use educative Good luck
Join this telegram group. Lots of resources to study and you can also request for mock interviews. https://t.me/system_design_interviews

https://github.com/binhnguyennus/awesome-scalability Usually you are asked to build some system design. The point is not to create a design but ask as many question as possible to account all requirements
