I read through DDIA(wrote down pages of notes for later reference). Watched Mikhail's videos. Both of them were pretty good. What's the next best thing to do before I start doing mocks? Too much content available and finding it hard to pick up the best ones and order it right. Please suggest your top 5 to 7 resources that will help me from the interview perspective (EM level).

Here are the top references I came across in Blind.
1. Grokking the SD course
2. SD interview by Alex Xu
3. YouTube videos of popular SD usecases

Edit: (Adding the suggestions)
4. Advanced grokking
5. Interviewing. io mock interviews and watch video recordings

You’ve already read so much. You are all set to invent a new database.

On the serious note, I’ll suggest read couple of good research paper like Dynamo, spanner, raft, zookeeper, Kafka, gfs and map reduce.

If time allow then you may pull a repository for Kafka and casandra and look imp part of code. Like in Kafka you can check raft protocol implementation.

Don’t forget to take overview of leveldb and rocksdb

  • All of these plus the engineer blogs linked in SD interview book should be more than enough to clear interviews

True, that's the gap I am trying to bridge. Thanks for the suggestion.
