A barbaric judge has sentenced you to one year imprisonment, but allowed you to serve your sentence at home. You are confined to your home for the whole year.
However, you can get early release if you are willing to play a game of Russian roulette. There are a number of 6 shot revolvers on a table. One revolver has one round in a chamber, but you don't know which one. You need to pick up a revolver at random, spin the barrel, point it at your head and pull the trigger. If you live you will immediately go free.
How many revolvers are on the table depends on your age:
If you are over 65 there is only one revolver.
If you are 45-64 there are three revolvers, one of which has a round in one chamber.
If you are 18-44 there are ten revolvers.
Do you serve the one year, or play Russian roulette?

If you are under 65 and healthy, COVID is about as likely to kill you as your daily commute in most areas.
https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.05.20054361v2
The COVID-19 death risk in people under 65 years old during the period of fatalities from the epidemic was equivalent to the death risk from driving between 13 and 101 miles per day for 11 countries and 6 states, and was higher (equivalent to the death risk from driving 143-668 miles per day) for 6 other states and the UK. People under 65 years old without underlying predisposing conditions accounted for only 0.7-2.6% of all COVID-19 deaths (data available from France, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Georgia, and New York City). CONCLUSIONS: People under 65 years old have very small risks of COVID-19 death even in pandemic epicenters and deaths for people under 65 years without underlying predisposing conditions are remarkably uncommon.
I suppose that's one way to be relieved from a sentence.
