Stripe:
Base: 245k
Stock: 240k per year. (Yearly vest)
Bonus: ~15%
Signing bonus: 65k
Wlb: ass
Refreshers: only for top performers - 80th percentile so not taking it into account
Meta:
Base: 205k
Stock: 800k
Bonus: ~15%
Signing bonus: 95k
Wlb: ass
Refreshers: meets expectations can get $160k per year which vest over 4 years.
4 year horizon:
Stripe with 20% growth yoy:
240*1.2^4 + 240*1.2^3 ... + 245*1.15*4 + 65 = 2,690k
Meta with 15% growth yoy:
800*1.15^4 + 160/4*3*1.15^3 ... + 205*1.15*4 + 95 = 2,811k
Personal goal is to learn from the best and not mindlessly chase "perceived" impact.
Also don't want to go through this interview hell anytime soon. Would like to stay at the company for at least 4 years.
With Meta it's the scale that is exciting. With Stripe, it's being able to create new products.

OP you’re not going to get 20% growth on your Stripe equity YoY. You’re going to get $240k YoY (+ merit but it ain’t gonna be 20%)
No transfer on PME rating even if the other team wants you. PMEs have been fired even though multiple other teams would have taken them.
Especially if everyone is trying to transfer out of a team - Stripe doesn’t recognize this means the team or manager is shit and instead tends to preserve toxic teams and poor leaders.
